NEW and changing businesses can access a range of information on keeping records,
software options and introductory training that can be accessed using geographic
location on the recently updated AIT Spatial Ltd website.
AIT Spatial is an authorised Autodesk Training and Certification Centre, providing
a range of introductory and advanced training both on-site and at its centre in
Wellingborough. By providing software development, land surveying, project management,
support and a range of solutions such as Eye-ASSET for Asset Management, Eye-HOUSING
for housing management, Eye-TREE for tree and plant management plus much more, AIT
is ideally placed to geographically enhance a business.
Businesses involved in land or estate management, consulting work with land that
contains trees, plants, arboreta or forests or provide maintenance, need to access
a large amount of information at a range of locations.

The new interactive map allows people to search for any of the 16,000 trees and shrubs grown at the National
Arboretum. Based on MapGuide, the new map allows visitors to the arboretum to find
what they are looking for using common or botanical names. By viewing the results
on the map, they can zoom in for more details and see extra information on the tooltips
and even print out location overview and close maps to aid navigation. The new map
may be viewed at www.thewestonbirtmap.org.uk
